Hi folks I live 10 miles north of Portsmouth (somebody has to!)and wish to buy some seats but have had trouble finding some that suit my build (I am not quite a stick insect).

Does anyone on here have either of these seats fitted and if yes can you tell me how good they are and even better would a 6 ft 36" waisted fellow such as I fit them?

I've got the first ones. They're available from a few different sources so worth checking for the best deal. Base mount means no messing around with brackets. They're a good fit for me but not a squeeze (34" waist) and I've had passengers in a lot bigger than me. They'll be nice and snug at 36". I've done a lot of long trips in mine and they're suprisingly compfy; Several 500mile days with just simple pads made from camping mat and my bad back is better than when in my tin-top.

The second won't hold you as well and the padded seats do tend to put you closer to the wheel so if leg space is at a premium they'd not be the best.

Try Triton seats. They have a good reputation and I think they're in the south-west...

When buying seats I recommend you sit in one before purchase. Just because someone else finds it fine doesn't mean it will work for you.

ive got those grp ones, good seats for the money, easy to fit, surprisingly comftable.

but don't expect them to have a perfect finish, mine had a few scratches/lumps, and the finish seems very thin.

but can't complain for the money.

Thanks lads and Nedharding for the offer but they do not seem right for what I am building.
I have much to do and will continue searching.
