Any idea what these are?

Hired a big Citroen van at the weekend to shift some stuff. Sorry about the lousy phone pic, should have taken it earlier in the day, but these things were fitted in the corner of the dash facing the driver.

The black square thing looked like a little tiny fan but couldn't have been, it was too small.

Just wondered what they were?

It probably is as far as the manufacturer of the kit is concerned, but it looks aftermarket, and whoever fitted it obviously thought 'Oh fk it, that'll do'
