Dropped mine off this morning with David Batty, and was surprised to see a hell of a lot of S's about... anyone here got theirs in at the moment...?

Hi Podie,

Did it look like anything was happening to the dust/mica blue coloured V8S?

It had been moved out of the workshop...

I arrived just before 9am, and they were working on a mica red S2... after a test run, a Chimaera went in...

Oo-er, subtlie Podieism alert!!!

That'll be JonRB's I think.

I guess the booking time for Dave is still measured in seasons then, with all you guys there? If you will all keep breaking them!

I want to get him working on Tuscan's soon - wonder what that will do to the waiting time, fixing those?

Speaking to him on Wednesday, not only does he have the software diagnostics for Tuscans but they'll tackle Lotus and now Noble as well!

What with the law changing with regards Warrantee's (sp) I guess he's just going to get busier and busier - thank goodness D-Day gatherings come but once a year!

I've previously had servicing done by David Batty and have been very pleased with all the work he's done.

I went to Austec primarily for the chipping, and was very happy with their service too. I returned to Austec to have the manifolds done, as Paul offered to do the last hour of setup on the rolling road once they were sorted, so made sense to have it done in one place.

To be perfectly honest I'd happily use either garage...

I presume they have found another MOT centre, 'cos mines parked up their waiting Paul's delicate touch after being shagged by the old MOT place.

Camshaft wear was diagnosed during service and booked in for next week anyhow, but it needed a fresh MOT ticket and came back bugred.

Still the MOT place have supplied a Honda Jazz for me to pootle about in and are going to pay for any extra bits it needs over and above the cam replacement, but I really miss the old girl and want her back

Had the wheel alignment done on mine and it made a huge difference...

Given the way yours was pulling Pies, probably money well spent!
