Bought in 2006 I think, a friend of mine is looking sell. He bought it because he liked it, hasn't worn it as much as he'd want to for fear of damaging it at work...
Now wishes to sell... he seems in a bit of a rush, which I've tried to hold him back on...Cash Converters have offered £1100, but am trying to educate him on it's real worth...

But I'm not that clue'd up either... what do you guys feel?

Omega Seamster Chrono Americas Cup 2594.50.00

thanks all

There is one on Blowers at £2275. 9th watch down http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/watches_omega.h...
Don't know how much it would be worth in a private sale, £1500-1750 perhaps if box and papers are present?

As I thought, thanks chaps.... I've let him know...if he insists on selling quick for chips, then I might have it...and make something of a handling fee smile

A non-chrono 2001 is failing to sell on TZ for £1200, so an 06 should fetch 1500 to maybe 1700 privately, which is about in-line with the dealer markups already shown.

IF you can find a buyer that is.

There is a classified watch section on PH, worth a shot.
