Quaiffe LSD Installation - Scotland

Hi All,

Looking for a recommendation for someone in Scotland (preferably Glasgow) with experience of fitting a Quaiffe LSD ?

I'm looking to purchase one from Birds but would prefer not to travel to London for install.

Birds tell me any competent BMW mechanic should be able to do it. He also mailed me the fitting instructions.

Your correct though, for peace of mind it would be better to travel down. Just means 3 days off work at least.

Christ, drive to London just to get a diff fitted?

This isn't rocket science. Any decent garage could do it. Try Kenneth Brown in Hillington.

Perhaps mackie transmissions Glasgow or Charles butler motor engineers Forfar could be able to do it. I've used butlers for servicing of autobox and diffs on mine and they're very knowledgeable, did what was asked and for reasonable price.
