Anyone know the history of this Cerb

Expensive for a Speed Six but oh so gorgeous. After 3 years away from TVR I am thinking of making a comeback, this one really caught my eye

I have seen it up at Jason's and it looks like a good one from a quick glance over it parked out side.

It looks great, if I hadn't just bought one I'd be interested myself. Only concern is the potentially looming rebuild. Mine is an early 03 and needed a rebuild at 36,000 miles. And with that low mileage, has it been sat around for a while?

Price seems reasonable I was looking for a while and some that I checked out were not as nice and more expensive on average 15-17k was going to buy a very average 99-2000 usually with 30-40,000 miles in my opinion it's good value for money if it's as good in the flesh

Here she is fresh from the following niggles being sorted

1) Boot light now works following a quick dismantle of the switch and clean
2) Wipers now self park, fitted a nice new switch
3) Ice Warning now at least comes on at tempertures than could be considered cold rather than any
4) Number Plate light lens cracked, replacement from www.caravan-components.co.uk

Only thing outstanding is the reverse light switch is a little missaligned so it comes on but only if you keep hold of the lever when reversing

The colour is Grigio Titanio with Nimbus and Anthricite 3/4 leather with Grey Lamonta Headlining

After flirting with BMW (anyone wanna buy a 2008 320iSE Convertible!) and Mercs etc for a few years I love the fact that I am back to everytime I leave the house wanting to take a quick peek in the garage just to look at at, just as I was with Griffith and Chimaera

Its got 3/4 Leather (stated in the handbook)
Lamonta Headlining (stated in the handbook)
18" Spiders (doh! Obvious)
Air Con (and it seems to work!)
DAB Pioneer Factory Fit Radio
TVR Overmats

but since buying I have also found it has

HIDS
Heated Front Screen


So since the original owner seemed a bit tick happy with the options list - anything I should be on the lookout for?

Wool Carpets? (how the hell do I figure that out)
Close Ratio Gearbox (again how?)

The dials are white and the dash wood so no funny business with colour coding and steel dashs etc here

Hi, can't help with the woollen mats or the close ratio box I have a 2000 speed 6 and I believe it runs on a T5 gearbox I was also told that there was a linkage mod to shorten the shift in the actual lever could this be it?
I noted from your pics you have a roof mounted ariel was this factory fit? I'm not a lover of ariels as I like the true lines of the car but radio reception is rubbish but as ariels go yours suits the car.
In closing can I be rude and ask you to post a pick off your interior? Mine is totally red and whilst I can live with it I'd like to add some material (alcantre or similar) to break it up, be good to see how the contrast looks ..... Unless of course you have the same colour but different textures?

The original advert is still on PH but the link above doesn't work since their website upgrade - however if you search the classifieds for Cerbera's you will come across the car and it has some photos of the interior. I will take some over the weekend anyway. Its Nimbus Grey (light grey) with Anthicite (dark grey) inserts, dash top etc

The radio reception for FM is excellent however the roof ariel was from the factory and is for the DAB tuner though reception for the DAB is a bit hit and miss!
