help /ideas on this ..badly closing doors on model car?
Discussion
got this delorean im working on , it was more of toy than a model with lots of innacuracies etc that im slowly working through fixing
got to align the doors today and they fit terrible , they rely on a small tab under the door card to snap into a hole on the sill and its not accurate/tight enough to hold the door tighly shut and in the same place every time
im out of ideas really , no room that i can see for magnets , maybe stuff a washer or two behind the door card and let gravity hold it shut?
any ideas welcome

Do a search for "Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets". I've used them before and they are incredibly strong. If you were to use a 4mm diameter one against a steel pad in the door, I think you would find it difficult to open the door at all by hand.
ETA They come in cylindrical and cube shapes among other things.
