Being a child of the 80's/90's I have noticed a steady decline of the cars of the 1980's. It has got to the point when I actually got moderately excited at the sight of a very tidy '89 gold Fiat Uno. I remember there being thousands of these rusty roller skates being on the road.

So please, share your 80's spots here smile

I used to own a Mk2 XR2. It wasn't particularly standard though, it'd had a 1.8 130hp Zetec transplant and a bit of fiddling on top. Nice car, complete rot box though. I spent £350 on welding it, sold it and the guy wrote it off. Thats when the true extent of the rust became apparent

I do have a kit car based on an 86 XR2, but it has a Fiesta RS turbo engine in it, with a chip it should be around 150hp - I'm debating whether to upgrade the injectors and chip for around 195hp (real world probably around 180) but it's just had an engine rebuild and a new turbo, so should probably just drive it standard for a while.

I often see others, there's a lady who owns a Mk2 Fiesta pop locally, and a couple of Capri's kicking around as well.

Still would love to own an S1 Escort turbo, but they're getting pricey now
