BF2BC - coaxial machine gun has disappeard

Hi all

Battlefield 2 Bac Company - Xbox 360

I have full unlocks as an engineer and I swear that I used to have a coaxial machine gun - either that or I've been drinking.

There is no more coax gun

Has anyone else seen this happen? Am I imagining this gun?

Is it not the alternative fire perk? So if you don't have that loadout you won't get it (and on the UAV it would be the machine gun) - at least, that's how it is on the PS3.

Is that the ALT-W? I'll have a monkey about with it tonight.
It's a right PITA having to stop, swap seats, machine gun people and then change seats again to carry on blowing stuff up.

I tend to use whatever the perk is for better ammo, I find the tank explosive splash damage does enough to take out enemy troops on the ground without worrying tooooo much about the MG... It also means you can kick seven shades out of enemy tanks as they approach too...
