i have seen for sale on here and in dealers elise of about '99 and '00 vintage for sale at £13k - £14k is this too good to be true and are the cars likely to be real growlers or is it possible to get my bum in one of these fantastic little toys?

what sort of things do i want to look out for buying at this price range

cheers all

I bought my '99 'S' Elise S1 with Super 160 upgrade from Bell & Covill recently for £13k so the price you have in mind sounds about spot on (mind you mine was a trade sale so no dealer warranty etc.)

i got my chrome orange 98 s1 for 11k with 33k miles.

thought a bargain, but dodgy battery.upsite me a bit, and think it may need new exhaust.but probably would have upgraded anyway.

just be wary of that, tyre wear-would be my advice-if your not a novice like me-then apologies for the insult!
