BMW E60 disc/pad change, DIY

I need to change the front and rear discs/pads on my E60 545.

A garage has quoted me £750 (4x discs, pads & sensors). Pretty expensive by my standards so I looked into the parts at GSF and they are under £400.

Anyone got any experience of changing these?
Is it something a semi competant guy can do or are they more trouble than they are worth?

Easy job, only gotcha could be if the rear callipers require twisting in rather than pushing..
