Hi Peeps..Well after three hours of crawling half under the car and getting a dead shoulder the seats are in..I could of used slightly shorter bolts as two of them are about 1mm away from the exhaust..I'd better watch the speed bumps..I must say what a massive difference..They are very comfortable and sit a bit higher than the old ones..It feels like im driving a TVR van..hehe..Now do i scrap the old ones or ebay them..scratchchin..Even if i get a score it a scores worth of juice..They will have to come out again in december as im having the carpet fitted..At least they will come out a lot easier..Cheers..Ziga

Next is door cards and centre console.

Good work Zig! Nice work chap smile How far forward can you get them? Me being a short-arse need them as far forward as possible. Do the side bolsters intefere with the transmission tunnel at all?

Marky boy.
They look great son.
Tell me....do you actually sit higher, or does it just feel like it because they are newer ?

Hi Peeps..I believe they are from a Nissan SX..They were a bit tight in there but they do slide all the way forward without hitting the transmission tunnel and they are definitely higher than the original..Not by much but enough where i had to adjust the mirrors..It does make the ride a lot more comfortable..Cheers..Ziga

PS:They were modified with a flat plate on the bottom so that the runners would fit...

Zig. Just a thought. If you sit higher in these seats, have you tried driving the car with the top on?

I just hope you don't have to modify the hard top and put a dome in it!

redcard

Why would that be a problem, the roofs only for keeping (some) of the rain out when parked isn't it ?

Either that, or its for keeping the rain water already in it spilling out!

I thought they were a form of coracle..(Primitive one man boat)..In case it rains for forty days and forty nights..Or maybe a surf board for extreme roof panel surfing..idea
