Does anyone know the max temp achieved at the manifolds?

I have a company near me that reckons it can apply a black coating that will survive TVR heat!

I guess it depends on how lean and how much advance you run your engine at also

I'll hold you to that!

I should hear tomorrow from that company as to what heat their products hold up to, frankly I need convincing.
