Rob Ingleby - Belated Praise

I just wanted to drop a quick note praise Rob Ingleby for his services when I recently bought my Cerbie 4.5.
Not only did he do an inspection of the car for me, he also did the negotation on the price.
The car was originally up for £23,500, I would have been happy to pay £23,000 but Rob managed to get the price down to £21,500!!
2 grand saved and it only cost me a couple of hundred quid for the inspection - bargain.
Sorry if this sounds like an advert, but I just wanted to recommend to potential buyers that they get an independant inspection as it is a cheap price for peace of mind!

I echo its always a good idea to take someone with you when you go buy a car. If it is price though it doesn't really matter whether they're qualified or not.
£500 is not much off a 20+ car. I would expect most sellers would go near to 10% if they thought they'd got a good buyer that wasn't going to play them around.
I have personally knocked 10% off a 20+ car I was selling cos the guy offered me cash.
