I'd be keen to try a DIY supercharger install. Would be great if you could keep us posted on your progress.

Anyone know any DIY enthusiast guides out there on the web?

Check out the mx5nutz forums, there's quite a few on there who have done the mod and documented it. Also, Tim Lane is making a kit of parts including mounting brackets, intake, hoses and filter, belt tensioner.. really, everything you need apart from the ECU (either piggyback or standalone) a couple of 1.6 throttlebodies, and the supercharger itself.

I will be documenting the work tho, but as more and more of these kit parts become available, it's getting more so it's assembly rather than any real engineering involved.
