Hi all, just after your experiences as far as BT Openreach go. I ordered my tv/bband package with sky on the 9th August. I was told that as I didn't have a phone line one would have to be installed. I was told an appointment would be made for the 26th, and this was confirmed. No engineer turned up on this date, so I was booked in for the 7th September.
After a few visits by various subcontractors and 'engineers' I am still no closer to having a phone line and the next appointment is for the 7th Nov.
Is it usual to take almost 4 months for a phone line to be installed? Does anyone have a good contact no for Openreach?
I think the person I am after is the 'BT Coach' for the north west/north Wales area...

If your contract is with BT directly, go for Ian L.
If your contract is via another ISP/Phone company that is using BT for the connection, try Openreach.
Polite, firm, short email to their CEO. No war and peace, just the facts, you'll find their office will pick it up and prioritise.
