I have just sold my Chimaera to a friend and I was convinced I had two sets of keys. Sadly I was wrong so it is my responsability to provide another set of keys/fob. Elmwood TVR who I am always happy to recommend can organise a replacement set but this would involve removing the impobiliser/alarm equipment from the car and a time consuming process costing at lease £ 200 to provide the spare key/fob etc. I do not doubt TVRFix at all but wondered has anyone else managed to procure another set of keys etc more easily or cheaply? Thank you.

Talk to Carl Baker, he does replacement keys although you may need to send the original to him for copying, he is very helpful so will tell you what is needed.

failing that, I think they are just Vauxhall keys so you could get the key copied.

+1 recommend Carl Baker. He supplied me with a spare fob and helped me programme it.

As above Carl is the man for the alarm fob.

If you need to replace the ignition key as well. A complete new lock barrel and two keys costs about 15 quid from ebay. That way you don’t have to worry about who has the other key to the present lock.
Takes about 10 minutes to change the ignition lock barrel.

I've just obtained a new remote fob for my car and the unit did not need to be removed or sent away. Do you have the red key code card that came with the car?

Sorry for the slow response. Sadly I don't have the red card.
