Where can I go to get TVR Merchandise, other than TVRCC which is a bit expensive to join.

I would like to get a lovely Tuscan key ring. My wife would like a baseball cap to keep her lovely locks in place.

I spent a good 4hrs cleaning and polishing the beast yesterday. I woke up this morning and its was bloody raining. Ahhhh! Question was, Do I Take the TUS ? (and waste 4hrs cleaning time) or Wait until its a bit brighter?

You guessed it, I took the other car instead.

How many of you stick to fair weather? How many of you just get out there and drive no matter what the weather?

Contrary to popular belief TVRs do not shrink, discolour or disolve when it is raining. Get out there and drive it, just be a bit more careful with the loud pedal!

Just remember to put the roof on and don't press go quite as hard as you would on a sunny day.

The polish I've used must be really good, no rust yet!

My scariest moment was having to drive home from work one evening after snow fell. I was sh!tting myself in case I lost the back end but I made it home although I went very carefully.

IMHO It's important to drive the car, whenever practicable, in as many conditions as you are able. For me, it not only instills heaps of respect for the vehicle, but also enhances my driving skills by exploring the limitations imposed on both me and the car.

You spent how much on a Tuscan and you are complaining that the TVRCC membership is too expensive? All £38 of it?? That isnt even a tank of fuel!

Weve only just got our Tuscan, but it will be used daily, whatever the weather - its a car and its for driving !

Our sensible car is a supercharged Elise - its much fun on a winters morning (done 50K miles in it and its only just 2 years old)

I clean em both weekly, with a polish/wax every 6 weeks ....usually dirty again by Monday PM .....
