One of the funniest ad's I've seen, I was discussing this advert with a friend and he seems to think its stupid & I think its rather clever, seeing as people will find the seller amusing and therefore trust him when it comes to buying the car & the fact that he lists faults properly. What do you guys think?

This is a poor example. But I feel in general the 'trying to hard to be funny' ebay adverts were old hat a decade ago. Even more tired than 335d jokes we get on here.

This advert falls into this category, there are however occasionally some adverts that are really quite funny.

That's brilliant, some of that had me in stitches, particularly this paragraph:
'The central locking drivers side doesnt like the cold and on a good day (which is every day when you own a FORD FOCUS 1.8 GHIA) will lock all doors but we couldnt have good without the bad so some days it will lock only a couple of doors!!! But like The Bionic man we have the technology to rebuild it......I will throw in a re con central locking motor'

Comedy is a brilliant way to get people to like and trust you so i wouldn't be at all surprised if a youth needing a first car jumped on it.
