Where is the best place in Glasgow to get alloys repairs

I just got an mx5 mk1 and had to get a new set of alloys as the old ones

had flat spots in two wheels, but depending on price if repaired

these would do as winter wheels

I've never used them, but there is a place in Carnwath which is just past Lanark that does repairs & refurbs. I can't remember the name, but i'm sure a quick search will find them.... Carnwath is not very big.

I've been looking about for refurb places for a while. Getting mine done on Thursday at Chameleon in Paisley.

Def one of the cheaper places about and the staff are very friendly and communication has been excellent so far.

I'll get some before and after shots uploaded for the weekend.

Gordon Hazleton in Hillington industrial estate is very popular, word has it if they can't be repaired he may be able to "source" replacements cheaply ;-)

Last time I was at Gordon Hazleton it was £55 per wheel, 2 1/2 yrs ago.

The Wheel Specialist refurbed mine (4) for £288 inc vat 2 months ago but they only needed blasted and painted.

Just phone round although I suspect they'll say bring them in give us a look!

I used Chameleon earlier in the year to get all 4 of my wheels re-done and they were fantastic; really good finish and same day service - were best value by far.
