Alarm Help (S2)

Hi, I pick up my first elise tomorrow, feeling v humbled. Having a problem with my insurance though, wondered if anyone can help out?

They want a cat 1 alarm fitted, the dealer seems to think that the car is a sports tourer, all the pics and info i can find seem to go this way, leather seats, four speaker stez, alu bits & bobs. I found that the cat 1 comes with the sports tourer?

Is there anything I can check to confirm what it is, alarm that is.(its a 2001 edition laser blue). Where will I locate it or is there anything easier, like the fob may give me a clue.

PS if there is not a alarm certificate am I able to source one..?

they all had cat 1 alarms - and it should have a fitting certificate from the factory which you may need to provide your insurer with. If its missing then you may be able to get a duplicate from the factory
