Already got 16 signed up from West Yorks TVRCC so look forward to being 60+ TVRs and then the Lotii
across the North Yorks Moors again before the fight with the huge Seagulls over the Fish & Chips

An excellent day for anyone who hasn't been with us before

Thanks Rich

Cheers
Trickie

Can we please do the "proper" hoon this time, Hole of Holcrum, Fylingdales etc., instead of all that trundling through obscure villages at 10mph like last year? Not only did a whole bunch of us get lost within 5 minutes of leaving the Mason's Arms, the villagers were moving faster than us and they were on zimmers! So mind numbingly frustrating that I did a u-turn back to Pickering, just to be able to stretch WICKED's legs on the "proper" run. Apologies in advance if I've offended last years route planner! I know it takes a lot of organising and credit to you. Just my two penneth worth.

Mark - I believe the general consensus is for a slower scenic route
where (in theory) we stand a better chance of keeping up to 60 TVRs together
on the way there and then a swift run home in smaller groups.

The problem of getting out of the Masons Arms lest year has been addressed
with a different starting point just off the A64

From my experience you won't ever keep more than 5 or 6 cars together
if you wish to have a quicker run due to the "whiplash effect"
and guys further back unable to keep up

Cheers

We could have several "catch up" areas on the way and then all gather at the big pub at the end of the A169 moors road, before we all go down the hill into town together. I appreciate there might not be many catch up areas that can accommodate 60 cars though! I hope the weather will be similar to today's. thumbup

Hi Trickie

Where were you going to meet up on A64 as I would be coming from Selby if I can make it, also a time would be handy.

There is a few Mobile camera sites on that run to Whitby so be carefull if you dont know where these are.

Think we will go straight to Sandburn Hall Trickie. Will plan to be there for 10.15am.

When I say 'we' I mean Haighy, O'H and me. Mrs Botty and Mrs Haighy are coming in a Mini I beleive! I'm not sure what Restless and Bouldster are doing yet.

If there is any change I will let you know.

Cheers. BB.

Simon do you really have to get permission to go? Just tell her. I just told wife that it would be nice to take her out to Whitby for a Sunday run (did not tell her there would be a mile long convoy of power hungry petrol heads) rofl

Hope to see you mate.

Hi Simon

It is a TVR Car Club organised event with members from all surrounding regions
but the car club is for anyone with an interest in the TVR marque.

There is a lot of interest from within the club so plenty of noise

Cheers

The Reserved parking in Whitby (for TVRs ONLY) is now full at approx 60

Anyone else now will have to take pot luck with on street parking
or in the large car park at the Abbey (scarey after dark!!!!)

This will be a massive turnout as the Lotus guys are joining us and some other Pistonheaders

Just keep fingers crossed for a Tropical weekend

Cheers

Weather is looking OK. Partly cloudy, high of 14c, only 20% chance of precipitation. Not bad for end of BST!
