Anybody got a Cappuchino ?
Discussion
Hello you Jap car lot, have popped over from the TVR section.
Anybody on here got a Cappuccino ? Was wondering about using one as the basis for a light weight hill climb car but it seems they are mostly very rusty or have had a lot of repairs to the shell. I have read a bit on the web but wondered if there was anybody on her that has one could have a chat with.

I've got one
its great, not slow by any standard and surprsingly refined at motorway speeds depsite pulling 5K at 80mph weighs in at 725kg and Suzuki cheated slightly and rated their engine at 63Bhp at the wheels where Honda etc went for 63 Bhp at the flywheel for their K cars
they do seem to rust tho' looked at a couple and went for something that needed a bit of work but was cheap
but probably an ideal basis for a race car as there's not much to 'em in terms of extras to start with apart from AC and a stereo, the engine can be tweaked a little and cheaply with a boost controller, air filter exhaust etc to about 85 ponies (stock is about 75) after that you need bigger turbos, biger injectors and ECU swaps to climb into the heady world of 3 figure power outputs
I drive mine every day as if driven gently and under 75mph I get 45mpg out of it so its a fun commuter car
this one looks pretty decent:
