Following on from my previous thread about having to sink to the lows of practical car ownership due to my new job I've been looking at diesels and was wondering if these are any good? They're very cheap, should handle well and are quite nippy for an oil burner but are they unreliable? Are parts going to be a problem? Is this just a terrible idea?

Have to try to find one without the massive spoiler too as that's just embarrasing on a diesel that can barely get to 60 below 10 seconds...
