Or should that be "Celebrities"

What the hell is with TV at the moment? Its like you simply cannot make a show that might feature, shock of horrors, a normal person. Watching come dine with me yesterday... its celebrity, 71 degrees north? celebrity.... that coach trip program?, again full of celebrities.

Problem is, I couldnt recognise anyone bar Bobby Davro and how is appearing on the apprentice a ticket to stardom? eh!?

Just terrible. The good thing about normal come dine with me is you get to see some right wierdos!

I do feel sorry for the participants however because their tenuous celebrity status means giving up the winnings for charity. Some of them seem that low on the celeb ladder that actually, they could probably do with the winnings.

Anyway its all absolute cod st and I hope it stops soon.

A little game I play with these types of celebrity show is to figure out who is on there looking for work.
Bobby davro is probably ok but apprentice chap might be looking for more tv work

The good thing is that there are now so many "celebrities" on TV (and more are being generated by the minute through "reslity TV" and X-Factor type programming) soon, EVERYBODY will be a celebrity. So TV will be full of "normal" people and the cult of celebrity will effectively have eradicated itself.

I'm sure their appearance fee made up for it.

Saw this on TV Burp, and I'm not sure I'd agree with the above statement to be fair. smile

That's kinda my point... It's celebrity coach trip.... Full of errr "celebs". Couldn't pick any of them out of a line up. Could just be avg joes...

I don't really make an effort to watch crap like this but I was stuck in yesterday and just couldn't believe the number of tv shows with a celebrity element where the celebrity link is tenuous at best. They'd of been better off getting a bunch of "normies" in. I just think its silly that the guys making these shows think that they need some form of celebrity to get viewers. Hence we have celebrity wipe your arse contests.

The host / guide has been doing the rounds promoting his autobiography .
He really thinks he is somebody.

He was on the radio comparing himself with a real celeb. Seems like more people recognised him than somebody who was actually famous.

I had to surgically insert ice cubes into my bladder when two of the "celebs" were announced as "Katie Price's friends".

What the flying fk? THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM CELEBRITIES.
