alternator overhaul

Looking to rebuild my alternator has anyone got any advice or pics of the procedure.

There is actually nothing wrong with my alternator but as I'm cleaning, painting and polishing my engine bay I don't want to put a dirty alternator back especially as it's so hard to get to under the fuel rail.

Give it a good de-grease with wd-40 wont do any harm to electrics. A good prep and mask it all off, "It takes ages" , then give it a spray in hamirite or the likes will look nice and fresh and nice and cheap too, just takes your time really.
