I've been the proud owner of a automatic Junghans Max Bill for a few weeks now and I've just noticed a noise/rattle when I 'jiggle' my wrist (stop sniggering at the back) which I hadn't noticed before.

Is this the automatic winding mechanism or has something come loose inside? I've never owned an automatic before so have nothing to compare it with. It's working perfectly so assume its normal behaviour?

Thanks
Rob

Can't vouch for your particular watch (nice choice btw) but it is quite normal for automatic movements to make a noise when you jiggle your wrist. If you rotate an automatic watch by hand you can usually feel and hear the balance weight rotate.

I have one and Monsieur Jameson has one - I can 'feel' mine winding now and again. All normal and nowt to worry about.

Seems to be normal to me...just the sound of the rotor going round and round. Here's mine...

Thanks chaps, it just freaked me out a bit as it seemed I hadn't heard it winding before
