Dubai Nov 7th

I was booked into a job in Dubai in November but I am now told that it isn't possible due to:

6 Nov - 7 Nov Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice)

Is this a major public holiday?

The flights and hotels are paid for, should I go for the 2 days anyway?

There should only be one dry night anyways but the town should still be lively. My advice, just go and sun it up for a few days.
