Pootling about in this Aygo from Enterprise is all well and good, but I'm about to bump up against their 4 week max rental rule for individuals (or something like that).

So I wondered if I might be able to give the custom to a PHer, as you do smile

Scenario is this - I'm waiting on the US immigration bunch to pull their finger out and allow me into their country and it's dragging on. It could be next week, it could be a month. In the meantime I'm living in Ashampstead at my mum's, and commuting to Windsor. So about 70 miles a day all in. There would possibly be a trip to Edinburgh and back at the end of the month though, so an additional 900 miles or so. Whether I take the train or drive depends on the economy of the car I have at the time.

Obviously not expecting anything flash for that amount of money - I can't really go higher as it's expensed and the company agreed the whole thing based on the Enterprise quote, not realising it would be this long.

(Although, that's not to say I couldn't "top it up" a bit on my own....)

Any thoughts?

Cheers. Is that a PHer?

I'm not unhappy with Enterprise, don't get me wrong. Just saw an opportunity to give some business to "one of us" smile

Are you suggesting that you might want to hire a car from one of us? Say a 54 plate Mondeo diesel that nobody wants to buy from me (despite it bein perfect and the best priced of its type in the classifieds!!)
