I was told air coming from both sides distorts the air flow

But then either the front or back of the plenum would be down on flow

So you would end up with 3 throttles

Then it would just be a mess

Like this ,do you have a picture ? The act triple has three have 3x45mm trumpets so that must be the right amount of air needed.

That's simalar to my one, it's 52mmx2

Will flow abit more than the 71mm big bore stock throttle body

But in theory will give me nice throttle response,

ACT must of done alot of research before putting there triple plenum on the market so 3x45mm must be the optimum for the 5l motor.Surely there is a maximum amount of air needed. How does 3x45mm compare to the bored out setup i have..

I read the bit; "...weld the bodys [sic] onto your std plenum cover...", and think "that sounds like fun!".
Claims "Part Manufacturer: tvr power"

Maybe call TVR Power and ask. Who knows?

Can anyone calculate the difference in air intake from the bored out plenum i have to the ACT one with 3x45mm.There must be a max where there is just to much air.

The ones one Fleabay come as a pair designed to be welded on to the plenum

I (as you know) have the triple Daz and it's still not getting enough air eek Hence the next induction mods to be carried out wink It's why she peaked at 354.5 bhp (that and the running in map) We're expecting it to be nearer 370 when we can get more air in.... plenty of fuel going in, just not enough air for an optimum burn wink
