There's a load of heavily disguised new Range Rovers plugging up and down the A46 these days. Yesterday one pulled into a lay-by in front of me, stopped, then took of at full beans. Considering that I was cruising at 70 I couldn't believe how quickly it had overtaken me again. I reckon we are taking 911 quick, seriously impressive from something that camouflaged looks like a brick at the front.

The current 4.4 TDV8 is fairly nippy, 0-5mph isn't great but once it gets going it really moves and it handles well, much better than the old TDV8. So I'd imagine that the new ones will in another league again.

I'm fortunate enough to have latest 4.4 diesel ffrr and a 911.

The ffrr is quick for a 2.7(?) tonne car. But it really isn't 911 quick.

Although might be interesting to see in gear difference at motorway speeds. smile

I see them daily at the moment on the A46. There at least two RR mules as I saw them a mile a part this morning and passed one this evening. And agree, one of them is very quick!

Well, the ffrr tops out at 130mph...

Surprisingly comfortable at that speed though!
