Hi,

My mother owned a soft top Fiat in the mid / late 1950's - I have recently found this picture and would like to know a bit more about it. I believe the car had some interesting history before we had it and I have no idea of who bought it.

Looks like a Topolino - little mouse. Very rare soft top version as well. Lovely.

Thanks for info, any idea who may own it? You say lovely, do you mean me, my mother, or the car?

Mothers are always lovely - the car is as well. Slightly off track but here's a pic of my mum with her 21st birthday present.

Hi,

Thanks for the info and the link to the website.

I think my parents bought the car from Lord / Earl Chalmondley - but not too sure. All I remember about it was that it kept throwing fan belts off

On reflection I think you're right Ronan, I don't think the Topolino had "bumpers".
