E36 Headlamp replacement

Is this a pig of a job, I need to replace the nearside headlight, new one arrived today (from fleabay) smashed....harumph.

So, I'll get another one, but having not changed one before, wondered if any gems of wisdom are out there.

Saying that though, my faith in human beings has been returned. I informed the seller it was smashed, wasn't his fault but thought I would let him know. He refunded it in full. Top chap
