Car suggestions

Hi,

I am after a car, but really not sure what to get so some suggestions welcome.

Max spend is £3k, must have some top end gadgets like Cruise control, Climate control, etc.

Good on fuel, not interested in high performance so probably a diesel.

So far I have come up with the mondeo tdci titanium x, but would rather have a smaller car.

Any ideas?
