Cruise Controls - Steering Wheel Illumination

Hi,

This may be a daft question, but, are the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel of my 56 plate ST TDCI meant to be illuminated?

They're not on my Ghia and they don't have that "translucentness" that you get on, say, the window switches that light up, so assume they don't.

No. Only MK4 onwards have these lit up.
