Due to an ever growing dog, I'm in the market for an estate. I do around 10k a year, so MPG isn't really a problem as long as it isn't awful.

Looking for something quick (relatively) and reliable, for 10k. Any suggestions?

Audi S4 Avant.

£10k will get you a 4.2 V8 model, around 7 years old.

My most recent obsession, a Forester STI.

There's a nice Litchfield one just popped up on the classifieds recently for your budget too. 330bhp, 330 lb/ft...

Thats cool - had never thought about one of these! Must look into them more.

S4 a good shout, but I'd prefer something a bit newer!

I never thought I'd suggest one if these but how about a Volvo V70 D5 Estate. My dad has had one for nearly 10 years (from new) it has been ultra reliable, very comfortable and pretty fast, even by more modern diesel standards, us there's a ton of boot space

I would go for a MG ZT-T SE260

Mustang V8 powered and less than £10K

You'll get a very nice late previous gen Legacy or Outback with the 3 litre H6 for that. Superb, reliable cars. Or Alfa 159 as above.

Subaru Legacy 3.0spec B.

If mpg is not a problem, it's all the car you ever need - it even has AWD!

Best selling car in Colorado. It snows a bit there so i hear. Got some friends in CO actually who swear by them, a LOT better than the Ford exploders and GM truck things a lot of yanks drive.
