Travelling up to North Yorkshire last Saturday on the A1, I hit something feathered and smashed the glass lense of the O/S headlight.

Can anyone tell me if I have to replace the whole unit or can simply source a new lense? (I think you have to replace the lot)

Does anyone know the correct part numbers to match the factory fit exactly? Is it a Bosch unit? Any advice welcome.

The lens and reflector are listed separately.
I believe the TVR part no's are M0434 & M0435 respectively for the left dip UK models.

Should be available from www.tvrgear.co.uk/ just put the above part no's in the search box, that should bring up what you want.

Anyone get the part no and what from from the alternative parts list. The only bit of lens I have left has a number 1305 604 4027 but I've no idea what it is off.

The net nanny at work won't let me access the link above so any help appreciated.

From the Alternative List (I'm assuming this is the website you can't get) the only reference to headlights is for this:-

Headlamp sealed unit - Valeo Part No. 984191

I have managed to obtain the lense part only from the factory via TMS at Melton Mowbrey. Cost is around £16.00 plus delivery to me or I can collect or have them fit it for a fee?

I have now managed to source a replacement lense from the factory via TMS. The guys at TMS also were kind enough to give me a few pointers about re-fitting.

However, the rubber lense seal needs to be replaced and I cannot locate a new one anywhere that I have tried. This includes:
TMS/TVR - out of stock?
BOSCH parts suppliers
Commercial Vehicle Parts Suppliers

I am now told that you can source the lense through any BOSCH parts suppliers (Part No. 1305 604 027) and that the lense is supplied complete with the rubber seal? The lense seal cannot be supplied separately?

Can anyone confirm this?
Does anyone out there have a spare seal?
Any advice?
