I'm quite taken by watches with Tonneau cases - I'd love a Bell & Ross BR02 Chronograph at some point, but as my car decided to turn into a money pit this year, the B&R will have to wait! So, are there any affordable sub-£600 tonneau watches that are worth a mention?

I spotted this Orient watch, which looks rather nice at first glance ...

The question is, what is the build quality like of Orient watches and is the watch above worth it's £270 (Amazon) asking price? It's automatic, but there's not much else worth shouting about smile

I've got an Orient Mako as an everyday work watch, and to be honest I think the quality is pretty good.

It feels quite well made.

I've owned a Kemmner watch and they're very well made and have a good rep.

Under £270 delivered.

Ooh I like those Orients above!

Orient, as far as I'm aware, are a subsidary of Seiko. I've done a wee bit of digging about them as I quite fancy a couple of their models - haven't found much in the way of negativity to be honest.

I know what you mean, I have recently been thinking about an Orient one I have seen too.

This one, looks ok for very little cash.
