M3 E46 smg neutral.

Looking round for one of these now, so just getting a fell for a few things.
one question is on the smg gearbox, at what stage did the neutral change from "0" to "N" I have seen a few advertised and they seem to differ, ? I am sure someone will know the answer straight away. or have a link to the development history of the M3 E46.

'0' shows on the earlier builds and 'N' on the later ones.

When they introduced the LED tail lamps also I believe.

The one I looked at was a 53 plate and had LED lights, but also showed "0"

The lights are a very easy swap and aren't that expensive, so very popular upgrade and few of the early cars didn't get it done at some point.

I think it is just a newer version of the SMG software, which can be updated.
