just popped out of the office to buy some lunch and on the junction of Goswell Rd and Old St was a very heavily disguised 5dr hatchback prototype at the lights - I'vve no idea what it was

the only thing I could work out was that it was a German registered car with 'FR' plates - am guessing Frankfurt

would that be Ford?

Could well be a Ford. When I used to work at Dunton several colleagues lived in central London and took development cars home.

Are you sure it's not just a new trend for the 'innits' to spend their drug money on?

After all, plain vinyl wraps are so passée these days.

Odd for something to be in central London, especially something German.

Nor me. But seeing as we're talking locals - I'm just on Clerkenwell Road by St John Street. smile

Saw a Nissan leaf go past me on Bishopsgate a few months before launch. Lightly disguised and no badges. My guess at the time was low speed ride testing. London's roads are pretty awful

I think I might have seen this myself a few weeks back, around Staines.
