Turning the ignition off will cancel the cruise control?!? redface

That would work well at 70 mph on the M1!

Easy to do, not that it'll happen for me as I've got a petrol wink

Spoke to my local Jaguar service department about this a few days ago. He says that there is a slim chance that the criuse control will stick on, and advises not to use it for the time being. Jaguar did have a fix, but this was found not to be successful. They're currently working on another fix, which they will communicate to X type owners soon. Apparently they find all the relevant owners via the DVLA.

The fix they've been trying apparently kills the ECU completely. Oops!
