surely the entire chassis would be warped/weakened from the fire.
The only thing that would be useful for that car is to be recycled. IF the engine was in OK condition, then I suppose it'd be something nice to add to a caterham or another lightweight car.

The only person who could make any use of this car would be an Audi specialist. Someone who is repairing Audis all day long.

Does he seriously think though that anyone is going to spend £4000+ on a wreck with so few usable parts. If you were an Audi specialist for 20 years I doubt you'd sell all of it. 1 control arm one year, a little bracket some other year, etc, etc... even if you got the car for free it would cause more inconvinience than profit.
