Series 3 vs Range Classic
Discussion
I ve currently got an old series 3 88 1982, its a reliable old thing which I bought ready for the winter as a toy a month or so ago, its not especially desirable being such a late one but it was fully rebuilt on a galvanised chassis last year so thats its selling point.
The only issue is it desperately needs painting its a horrible non standard colour and looks terrible. Its not worth getting resprayed professionally and I work 6 days per week and don't have a workshop or the time to do it.. A coat of paint and some tinkering and it would be a great package but I can't see me finding time to do it.
Now I could just use it as it is although its bugging me abit however a mate (with more time) has offered to swap it for his Range Classic, its a 3.9 Auto, rust free and very tidy, its just before the soft dash, now the best bit is its Beluga Black with grey leather and it has a rare factory handling pack. Now I imagine they are worth similar money... what would you do..

They really aren't comparible cars; one is a hugely competent but very crude all-out 4x4, the other is a surprisingly sophisticated and complex luxury car that happens to be very good as a 4x4. I'd look at what you are going to use the car for and make your choice on that basis
This is very true, maybe i was unlucky but my experience with the Range Rover was very expensive, things just kept going wrong and the bills were getting bigger,i am back to a 90 now.Gassing Station | Land Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
