I hate Greggs, they sell sausage rolls and sausages on a muffin. What do they call this delight? Yup a sausage roll. Like a complete numpty I asked for a sausage roll and the special needs woman behind the counter said to me "Do you want a sausage roll or a sausage roll" how the fk do they expect you to answer a question like that?

Not keen on their food. I rarely eat at motorway services , if the only choice was greggs then I probably would not be tempted to eat anything.

Whatever it is I bet it will be rip off prices, the other branded lot seem to delight in robbing you left right and centre. I avoid them (M way service station) where ever possible.

As if there wasn't enough filth too choose from at service stations hehe

OT, does anyone know why you don't see Subway at service stations? Always seems to be KFC, BK or McDonald's.

They also have a couple of vans which tour the business parks around here, add 30 or 40 pence to shop price for being delivered
fat, flakey and pasty looking and that's just the driver.

Could be that most Subways are franchises and motorway BK, KFC and McD aren’t . . . . . .I reserve the right to be completely wrong and await somebody who knows the real answer smile

I will have one of their sub salad rolls and an eclair or two plus a latte. Anything else is gash there.

I presume an 'oven bottom muffin' as the lancastrians call them , i.e. a cob, a bap, a breadcake, the small relation of a stotty ...

Their egg mayo and tomato relish sarnies used to be delicious, been years since I've had one though. And the cherry muffins.

Did they not have bacon in back then?

They sell a version of that, but with bacon, it's definitely delicious.

The Jaffa Cake donuts are a thing of genius.

Try them. A triumph.
