Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me why my wedge is lower on the drivers side at the rear. I have replaced all the bushes and suspension but the gap between the tyre and wheel arch is 1 inch less than the other side. I did think it may be the body sagging but when i look under the car the suspension arm on the drivers side sits higher up than the passanger side, in other words the passenger one sits at an angle as if its being forced down but the drivers side sits level.
Any ideas!!!
Thanks Glen

you sure both springs are the same? my 390 springs were 20mm longer than a pair of 400se springs from a well known wedge specialist, maybe someone has mixed springs?

Over time, light cars (LHD or RHD) will always sag more on the driver's side. How many miles over a decade is there a driver and no passenger?

Sagged springs will still do their job, but their ride height changes.

Mine leans on the drivers side..Especially when i get in it..hehe..At this years BBWF quite a few people commented on how much mine was leaning to the point of actually getting the jack and axles stands out..I also have a slightly bent suspension mount on the drivers side which i suppose made it look a lot worse..Ziga

My Wedge was well pissed.

It sat about an inch lower on the drivers side and was pretty noticeable from behind. New springs were a waste of money as it made no difference. I'm pretty sure that it was a pissed body sitting on a pissed chassis and lots of shimming was required........................... so I sold it wink
