So, a brand new track.
No teams have set-up knowledge.
No drivers have done any fast laps. Should be interesting.

It's never too early for a curry!

We were planning our foodstuffs for next week last night.

I wonder if there would be enough interest from PHers to watch the GP in an Indian Restaurant next year? hehe

Interesting that's there not a single "real" track view available yet !

Narain Karthikeyan says India will be a 'surprise' to the Formula 1 fraternity

Surprise we've not finished it yet but don't be surprised when Karthikeyan & Chandock fail to complete a racing lap - harsh ? but true wink

Anyone else getting a whiff of "Commonwealth Games" stink surrounding the lack of real images of the 'completed' track and facilities?

Hope it actually is finished and they get a semi decent crowd in

Bit of a shame..
I'm very surprised - most mean loosing a fortune in coverage for the team. Can only assume it's because Trulli won't give up his seat as it's his last full season in the car.

(Trulli is signed to Lotus/Caterham next year, however it's not clear in what capacity).

Just read that. You'd think the team would want exposure in a country as big as India. Apparently not.

Indeed..
he has bagged a place in first practice at least.

I was under the impression he would be racing on sunday.

So was he !
I'm 100% sure it's down to Trulli not willing to give his seat up. It's odd because in private he doesn't stop criticising the team and the car.
