for a few quid and some rewelding and polishing it could turn out to be a cheap mod.

Even if it's a turd, would you care if it transformed your car into a 500bhp monster?

In truth you'll see FA gains I suspect, Phil Ringwood used to have one and seems to have dispatched it in favour of larger std & now pondering one sided multi throttle solution I believe.

How does the modern air intakes work?there is no plenum and looks like a bit of cheap plastic .Can`t something like this be made for the RV8.
Look at the size of the aperture and only one buttlerfly.

This looks promising. Were these mass produced.

I had one of those on my SD1. Lots of hassle in the standard guise, but can be improved upon with a bit of work.

ETA so yes they were 'mass' produced on SD1 twin plenums but in fairly low numbers. I think I've seen one on a Chim on here.

yes Meatball as one wink they are rare enough scratchchin throttle spindle flexing appears to be a problem on this set-up causing un-metered air entering the motor and said spindles are hard to locate, there was talk of someone reproducing them in stainless,I may just be talking bks though rolleyes
