I do, they are cheap but busy. I've enjoyed personal service with them, they will supply a courtesy car if needed.
One word of caution would be to check bits and bobs as they sometimes overlook things like shutting the bonnet/boot, tightening exhaust clamps or not using oil provided by yourself etc. I still use em though

Nick, I used them last year for a full service, wax oil and MOT. I supplied my own oil which they used. They picked up and left a tank (Saab) then dropped off - all free of charge. I was pleased and the Chims going back end of this month for "same again" plus manifold gaskets. All my other local TVRers have used with no complaints.
Did the job asked so no complaints. I was in "free pick up" area being near Kings Lynn but you may be out of area for this. Isn`t there an indy in your area though? I`m sure someone mentioned it at the last PHer East Anglian meet and you are of course coming to the next one - aren`t you?

I've used them twice now.... once for 12,000 mile service and another for master cylinder and tappets....
I thnk they are not to bad...... not the quickest ( however this may be down to sourcing parts on my S2 and not totally thier fault).
At £30/hrs... one of the cheapest about,,, ie qouted abouted £390 from Offord for service compared with nearlt a grand from the TVR centre Barnet.
If any wants any further details on servicing in South Herts/N London I have some more info which I can't post... so e-mail me

cheers for the replies.....the reason I ask is the first service I had done ( a 12,000 miler) was at a main dealers. I was told it would be in the region of £600 and it turned out to be almsot £1200 with nothing major being done.....needless to say I nearly had a heart attack and a divorce.!!!
I think going to an indy like Offord may help me stay married slightly longer
Looks like I may try them then.....

I use to use them on a very regular basis, good personal service from Phil and Simon, but they are very busy bunnies so you have to wait a very long time. Not entirely happy with the standard of work (car usually comes back with more problems than it went in with) although it's probably the car not them. have decided to try Silverstone TVR as it is as close for me. So far an excellent service and Iam very impressed.

My Chim's with them right now, and the world's scabbiest SAAB is standing in my drive...
Like most "enthusiast" businesses, they're excellent at the oily bits but slightly shambolic at the administration. That doesn't bother me, my car's not an everyday driver, so I would recommend them without hesitation. Nice people, reasonably priced (I thought The TVR Centre were taking the piss, myself. Two days and £1200 for a 12K service?), free collection and delivery. Overall, very good.
Of course, you could always use that BMW dealer in North London who charges £154/hour...

As for the loan cars, they may be old Saab's but they stop, go and do the job thats required ao all in all very useful.
Dunno. I've never used the loaner. Since the Tiv's not an everyday driver, we just leave the SAAB for the delivery driver to come and go in. I'm just happy for the painlessness of having the Tiv mysteriously disappear and subsequently re-appear, appropriately fettled.
Use Offord for all my servicing & major jobs, good lads, and hopefully they will be fitting my new cams to the Cerb when we can get them.
NickP, you should talk to Scole engineering, as from all reports they are ace with the Chims/Griffiths (and they also have rolling road facilities if you like that sort of thing)

We have always had excellent service from Kerridges in Needham Market (bottom of A140). They are very proactive and will usually call to discuss potential future problems and advise on necessary action. Our Griffith came back last time with a mod to the bonnet catch (much needed) that was not on the requirement list or the bill.
Not the cheapest in East Anglia but we have also had quotes from others that were more expensive. Never needed to get a courtsey car as we usually drop the TVR off on a Sunday and pick it up on the Saturday.

Just had my Griff serviced by Scole for the second time. Give them a list of things you want doing and they just do it, no problem. I can't comment on Offords as I haven't used them but have heard indifferent reports.
The guys at Scole to do a conscientious job and I have been very happy with the work done so far. I know other Suffolk region TVRCC members who use them, I haven't heard a complaint yet. As well as Tivs they do work on Skylines and other high performance cars. Chatting to Jason, he was telling me they were looking for a Griff or Chimaera of their own and the mods they were talking about doing to it were very scary. As for courtesy cars, don't expect anything more than a Saxo or a Golf, but you can forgive them that as they give very good value for money. All IMHO.
Ask for Jason or Vince on the above number.

Kerridges is the place I had been going...great service but just TOO expensive for me I am afraid. I am not in a position to pay £1200 every service (3 kids, 2 cats etc)...looks like I will plump for Scole as they are nearest to me and seem to have a good reputation
I have been using Offords for the Last 5 years, Very Helpful and i have had no wows to date, although sometimes they could clean up a bit better but then i am not that fussy or worried about that unless it was really bad.
They serviced my S for 3 years and have serviced my Griffith for the last two and also changed the clutch and done a exhaust Mod.
Top guys so i would highly Recommend them, But book up early..
And yes it might be A Scabby SAAB but its something not all companys offer and for some sad reason i quite enjoy driving it for a day*

*wouldnt want one any longer though
