I'm not a huge fan of the fat-tongued tt, but most of his recipes are pretty good. I've been looking for a Mortar and Pestle for a while but spotted one of his 'inventions' in TK Maxx for less than half price and bought it. Bloody works, too! Goodbye ready crushed herbs and spices, hello FLAVOUR.

Mine was also good, up until the point it exploded into a million peices, throwing its contents all over the kitchen.

Long enough to not be able to take it back. But I didnt really use it all that often either.

Maybe I'm just more Powerfully built than I thought.

We had the same thing happen - the ball inside cracked the base and the thing fell apart.... ground cumin, coriander and dried chillies everywhere! bd!
My wife bought another shaker but we reverted to the pestle and mortar. laugh
