Nothing beats dunking a digestive in a hot mug of tea. But is it acceptable to do it at work?

I'm sat here (in an office) mug of tea in front of me, chocy biccy in hand, and a voice in my head telling me its wrong to dunk it, should I?

Have you done a risk assessment for when you burn your fingers trying to get the broken biscuit out of the tea before it all turns to mush? hehe

You put two biscuits together so it doesn't fall in.

One of the highlights of the middle of the afternoon.

Shortbread is good for this.

If you bite the lot and bottom of a Cadbury Finger off, you can suck tea through it like a straw...

Don't do it. You will be liable for a bumming by the biscuit police.

Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting habit, beyond reproach.

Wherever you choose to "dunk".

If you are a vicar performing a baptism then you should dunk.

I used to dunk ginger nuts until the disciplinary hearing. Apparently, it's wrong to stick Scottish men's heads down the toilet and flush.</made up story>

The first part of the above brought visions of somebody teabagging their afternoon cuppa.

Are you proposing a new adrenalin sport of extreme dunking?

What you need is an elliptical mug, thus allowing whole biscuit dunkability when handling digestives, wagon wheels or other large diameter sugar based snacks.

I once ate an entire packet of Rocky chocolate biscuits using this method.

It was amazing.

Twix (maybe not at work though) smile

Supposed to have quoted the above post, use the Twix as a straw.

Dunking is a Northern thing, right? I've never seen someone dunk a biscuit in the civilised world.
